The story

The córdoba succeeded Nicaragua’s peso-denominated treasury currency under the 1912 law, circulating in 1913. [1]

National centavo issue represented one hundredth of the already used peso unit of account. [2]

Nicaragua converts laws, contracts, fees, fines and unspecified-money obligations from pesos to córdobas at 1250:100. [3]
