The story
BOJ dates Jamaica’s decimal currency to September 8, 1969 on a ten-shilling dollar basis. [1]
BOJ’s statutory extracts define a 100-cent dollar and show the 1969 amendment; later amended call-in provisions do not by themselves establish the 1969 withdrawal schedule. [2]
Ministry Paper 7 explains the ten-shilling dollar recommendation and abandons the earlier 2½-cent coin/halfpenny proposal; policy proposals must not be graphed as enacted currencies. [3]
