The story
The Caribbean guilder became legal tender in Curaçao and Sint Maarten on March 31, 2025; the announcement records the first ceremonial exchange from Netherlands Antillean guilders that day. [1]
The 2025 Caribbean-guilder legislation carries Antillean-guilder deposits and legal instruments forward at 1:1. The two names are grouped as a continuing account unit under the project identity rule; this classification is an explicit inference. [2]
