The story
The issuer describes a new-dinar series after the 1994 reform, later Yugoslav issues in 2000–2002, and National Bank of Serbia notes in 2003. [1]
One October dinar replaced one million July-1992-scale dinars. [2]
Turning points
Territorial currency separation
Federal Yugoslavia introduced a dinar scale worth ten preceding dinars. Successor territorial branch after other republics separated. [3]
Redenomination
One January dinar replaced one billion October-scale dinars. [4]
Monetary stabilisation
The stabilised new dinar entered at thirteen million January dinars per new dinar. Dated rate only; the table gives twelve million from 26 January through 30 June. [5]
Currency renaming
The Yugoslav new dinar became the Serbian dinar without another rescaling. Later ISO-code change in 2006 is not a new monetary unit. [6]
Identifier change
The Serbian dinar’s ISO code changed from CSD to RSD. [7]
