The story
An October 1855 royal endowment records distinct amounts in mohar rupees and 16-ganda paisa rupees. Their separately valued accounting establishes the latter as an account unit, not merely a coin or subdivision. [1]
Endowment income converted between mohar and16-ganda paisa accounts. [2]
The concurrent16-ganda paisa-rupee account was abolished during the reported nationwide consolidation into mohar-rupee accounting. [3]
