Swedish riksdaler specie

CUR-V22-SWEDISH-SPECIE · Research draft

A documented account-unit or currency-system transition supports this predecessor identity; not admitted from a specimen or inherited label alone.

One scoped currency identity. Changes to subdivisions, scale, standard, instruments or issuers do not by themselves create children. A distinct account unit can remain a successor.
Dated observations: 1534–1789; this does not establish the entire lifetime.

Inference C1155

Edvinsson distinguishes riksdaler specie from the riksgälds unit emerging in 1789, and groups riksgälds, riksmynt and krona in one continuing unit. This supports a qualified branch from specie, rather than an invented new currency at every name change.
